We know that careful handling of your personal information is important to you. Therefore we appreciate your confidence in HEY-U and our conscientious approach in dealing with this information. By this Declaration you allow HEY-U to collect, process and use your personal data mentioned below for the purposes stated herein. You may revoke this consent for future use at any time.

Responsible body

The responsible body as defined by the Data Protection Act is the HEY-U Entertainment GmbH, A-1230 Vienna, Speisingerstr. 121-127.

What personal information of our clients is collected and used?
Information we receive from you helps us to individualise your shopping and to constantly improve it. We use this information for processing orders, for delivering goods and for providing services as well as for the transaction of payments. We also use this information to communicate with you about orders, products, services and marketing offers (see also below Communication via e-mail), as well as to update our datasets and to maintain and update your client accounts.
We collect the following information:

• Information you give us: We collect and save all information you enter on our website or which you send us by any other means. You can choose not to give us certain information, which, however, may lead to your order not being processed. We also use this information to communicate with you.
• Automatic Information: As soon as you contact us, we receive and save certain information. Among other things we use “Cookies”, like many other websites, and we receive certain information as soon as your web-browser opens the HEY-U website. Various companies offer software that allows you to visit websites anonymously. Although we will no longer be able to offer you a personal shopping experience if we cannot identify you, we would like you to know that such tools are available.
• Communication via e-mail: In order to make your e-mails more efficient and interesting, we frequently receive confirmations on which HEY-U e-mails you open, as long as your computer supports this function. If you do not want to receive e-mails from us in general, please inform us accordingly.

Does HEY-U pass on the information it receives?
Information about our clients is important for us and helps us to optimise our offer. However, it is not part of our business to sell this client information. Information we receive will only be passed on to third parties to the extent described below:

• Related companies: Related companies controlled by HEY-U and their subsidiary companies, which are either subject to this Data Protection Declaration or observe guidelines providing at least the same protection as this Data Protection Declaration.
• Protection of HEY-U and third parties: We disclose client accounts and personal data about our clients if we are obligated to do so by law, or if such a disclosure is necessary to enforce our general terms and conditions of business or other agreements, or to protect our rights as well as the rights of our clients and third parties. This includes the exchange of data with companies specialised in the prevention and minimisation of credit card fraud and abuse. We expressly state that in this regard no data is passed on to these companies for economic purposes that would be contrary to this Data Protection Declaration.
• With your consent: In all other cases you will be informed if personal information is to be passed on to third parties so you have the opportunity to give your consent.

How secure is information about me?

• We have physical, electronic and procedural security measures in place for the collection, storage and disclosure of the personal information of our clients. These security measures include occasionally asking you to prove your identity before we disclose personal information to you.
• If you pay via PayPal (credit card), the security measures of PayPal apply.
• It is important that you protect your password and your computer from unauthorised access. If you share your computer with others, make sure to log out after each session.

What about third party advertising and links to other websites?
Our website contains third party advertising and links to other websites for which HEY-U is not responsible. We do not transfer any of our clients’ personal information to those companies.
These advertisers or companies acting on their behalf sometimes use technologies that send advertisements, which appear on our website, directly to your browser. This automatically transmits your IP-address to the relevant third party. Cookies, JavaScript and “web beacons” (also known as “action tags” or “single-pixel gifs”) are also used sometimes as well as other technical means to measure the efficiency of their advertising or to personalise its content. We can neither access nor control the Cookies or other means that may be used by these third parties. The handling of data by these third parties and their websites is not covered by the present Data Protection Declaration. Please contact these companies directly to obtain information on their data protection regulations. In particular we would like to refer to the data protection regulations of PayPal if you use this form of payment.

What information can I see?
You can look at a variety of information on your account and your interactions with HEY-U and update it in certain cases. Once you have logged in, you will get to see what information is available.

What options do I have?

• As described above, you may always choose not to provide information, although this might be necessary for your purchases or the usage of HEY-U features.
• On the pages on “What information can I see in My Account?” you can add or update certain information. If you update information, we usually keep a copy of your original information in our files.
• If you do not want to receive e-mails or other mail from us, you can adjust your user account accordingly.
• The Help-function in the menu bar of most web-browers will explain to you how you can keep your browser from accepting Cookies, how your browser can notify you if a new Cookie was received or how you can also de-activate all the Cookies received.

May children use HEY-U?
HEY-U does not offer or sell any products for minors. Our products for children also may only be bought by adults. If you have not yet reached the age of 18, you may only use the HEY-U site together with a parent or guardian.

Our business is constantly changing. This Data Protection Declaration and our Terms of Usage are also subject to modifications. We reserve the right to send you messages on our valid guidelines at regular intervals. In any event, please visit our website regularly and inform yourself about any modifications. Unless otherwise provided, the usage of any information we have about you and your client accounts are subject to this Data Protection Declaration. We assure you that any significant changes to our Data Protection Declaration that would lead to weaker protection of client data already received will only be made with the consent of the relevant clients.
